A Growing Legacy of Success

Jahangir Khan Tareen initiated work for ATF Mango Farms in 1986, focusing on transforming uncultivable land characterized by barren dunes. The farm’s inception in such a challenging environment reflects the vision and determination to turn difficult landscapes into productive agricultural areas. Subsequent efforts were then dedicated to infrastructure development, laying the foundation for efficient and organized farming practices. Over the years, Ali Tareen Farm has evolved into one of the most progressive farms in South Punjab, indicating continuous efforts towards innovation and improvement in agricultural techniques.

We are involved in the cultivation of various crops, including mangoes, sugarcane, corn, maize, silage, cotton, and wheat. Mango planting was started in 1987, and in 1995 Jahangir Khan Tareen engaged experts from Australia and recruited local fresh graduates.

Commitment to infrastructure development laid the foundation for efficient and organized farming practices. Their joint efforts were focused towards quality production and replacing the conventional munshi system.

We were not only the first farms in Pakistan to achieve EurepGap certification but also the first to attain GlobalGap certification, demonstrating our commitment to safer and sustainable farming practices.

Our farm marked another significant milestone by signing the Mango MUAVAN Trial Shipment Agreement under USAID in 2010. The successful shipment of Sindhri mangoes reached Univeg, TotalExotics, and Wealmoor, eliciting highly positive feedback from all three buyers. The superior quality of the mangoes surpassed anything they had previously encountered in the market.
