The company’s primary focus revolves around the construction, ownership, operation, and maintenance of a solar power plant with a total capacity of 12 MW in Adhi Kot, District Khushab, Punjab.
AJ Power (Private) Limited achieved its Commercial Operations Date (‘COD’) milestone on December 13, 2017. This signifies the commencement of active operations and energy generation from the solar power plant. The company operates under a long-term Energy Purchase Agreement (‘EPA’) with its exclusive customer, Central Power Purchasing Agency (Guarantee) Limited (‘CPPA-G’). This strategic partnership ensures a stable and sustained energy supply, contributing to the growth and development of the renewable energy landscape in the region.
The establishment of “AJPPL” was driven by a visionary goal—to create a dedicated and independent power generation company. This company is designed to undertake the complete lifecycle of a power project, from design and development to operation and maintenance. The overarching objective is to align with international prudent utility standards while ensuring economic viability and environmental sustainability, all achieved within the shortest possible timeframe.
Situated near Adhikot, a town in close proximity to Khushab and Qaidabad in Punjab, the project site falls within the concession area of Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company (FESCO). The power plant boasts an installed capacity of 12 MWp, with a net output of approximately 10 MW of electrical power after accounting for losses within the solar park. The plant commenced its commercial operations in 2017.
The electricity generated by this project serves the local Adhikot 66/11 kV Grid and is seamlessly integrated into the FESCO network through the Adhikot 66/11 kV grid located in the immediate vicinity. This strategic positioning ensures efficient distribution and contributes to the regional power supply network.
Recognizing the crucial need for a clean and dependable energy supply, AJ Power has entered into an energy purchase agreement (EPA) with the Central Power Purchasing Agency (Guarantee) Limited (CPPA-G). This agreement spans a substantial 25 years, showcasing our commitment to sustaining a long-term and reliable energy partnership.
